Gewinner „Special Mention“

The design and lighting concept of the modernized VIP Lounge in the Congress Center Messe Frankfurt has been awarded the German Design Award "Special Mention 2016".

The central element in the new room design of the VIP Lounge, designed by LS Interiors, is the special lighting concept to compensate for the lack of daylight. An illuminated wall and large round light fields on the ceiling now convey natural brightness. The luminaire wall is fitted with placed, as randomly arranged luminous bodies and provides with the help of indirect light for an artistic-looking effect. All materials used are adapted to the modern architecture of the building. 5 seating groups with concise seating and tables form the furnishings for this individual retreat. A buffet counter at the back of the lounge completes the concept
